Tasting Notes

A fine example of Alto Adige winemaking, this Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC reflects generations of local expertise. Its modest 12% alcohol content favours freshness and drinkability. Crafted from Pinot Noir 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards from selected plots in Pochi, Appiano and Cortaccia located at 300-450 meters above sea level on sandy, clayey and very limestone soils. Biodynamic agriculture. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in steel with maceration on the skins. The wine is aged 12 months in wooden barrels and concrete vats. A wine showing the alpine freshness and purity typical of Alto Adige.
