This Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC captures the distinctive personality of Alto Adige terroir. At 13.5% alcohol, it presents a well-balanced and harmonious profile. Crafted from Pinot Nero 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards vineyards of over 65 years of age on a cru formed from a soil rich of clay, lime and gravel. Vinification: 75% of the grapes are de-stemmed, while 25% is left to ferment in barrels for 10 days. The wine is aged 14 months in small french oak barrels, then 7 months in large oak barrels and 12 months in bottle. A wine reflecting the region's cool mountain climate and precise winemaking.
