A fine example of Lombardy winemaking, this Pinot Nero dell'Oltrepò Pavese DOC reflects generations of local expertise. At 13.5% alcohol, it presents a well-balanced and harmonious profile. Crafted from Pinot Noir 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards campo Castagna vineyard, at 420 metres above sea level (the highest part) with west esposition on clay soils. Vinification: alcoholic spontaneous fermentation with only indigenous yeasts without control temperature in steel vats. The wine is aged 12 months in oak barrels of 10hl. A wine reflecting the alpine influence found across Lombardy's varied terroir.
