This Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC captures the distinctive personality of Alto Adige terroir. At 13.5% alcohol, it presents a well-balanced and harmonious profile. Crafted from Pinot Nero 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in hilly soil rich in clay and limestone between 350 and 650 metres above sea level. Vinification: destemming, soft pressing, cold maceration for 4 days, alcoholic fermentation in stele tanks and malolactic fermentation in small oak barrels. The wine is aged 11 months in small oak barrels and some months in big oak barrels. A wine showing the alpine freshness and purity typical of Alto Adige.
Alto Adige combines Italian and Austrian winemaking traditions in Italy's northernmost wine region.
