A fine example of Alto Adige winemaking, this Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC reflects generations of local expertise. Its modest 12% alcohol content favours freshness and drinkability. Crafted from Pinot Noir 100% , this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards located in the municipalities of Appiano, Cortaccia and Pochi on gravelly, calcareous, morainic and clayey soils on the surface. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts in cement, wood and steel containers and followed by malolactic fermentation. The wine is aged 12 months between cement vats and oak barrels. A wine showing the alpine freshness and purity typical of Alto Adige.
Alto Adige combines Italian and Austrian winemaking traditions in Italy's northernmost wine region.
