A fine example of Alto Adige winemaking, this Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC reflects generations of local expertise. With 13.5% alcohol, it strikes a confident balance between body and freshness. Crafted from Pinot Noir 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in the vineyards owned by Appiano Monte at 500-600 meters above sea level on gravelly and calcareous soils facing south. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in steel for 12 days at controlled temperature and malolactic fermentation in barrique. The wine is aged 12 months in barrique. A wine reflecting the region's cool mountain climate and precise winemaking.
Alto Adige producers are renowned for precise, terroir-expressive whites and elegant reds.
