A fine example of Alto Adige winemaking, this Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC reflects generations of local expertise. Its 14% alcohol content underpins a rich, muscular structure. Crafted from Pinot Noir 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards manual selection of grapes, vineyards at 450-760 m s. l. m., 20-60% slope, southwest orientation, the yield is 56 hl / ha. Vinification: slow fermentation and gentle handling of the must in stainless steel tanks, followed by malolactic fermentation. The wine is aged 12 months, 50% in big wooden barrels, the remaining 50% in barrique, new for 1/3. A wine showing the alpine freshness and purity typical of Alto Adige.
