This Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC captures the distinctive personality of Alto Adige terroir. Its 13% alcohol content supports a rounded, well-integrated style. Crafted from Pinot Nero 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards between 350 and 700 metres above sea level on silty and sandy soils, los yields. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in open steel vats frequently plunged and malolactic in barrique. The wine is aged 15 months in tonneau and barrels then 12 months in bottle. A wine capturing the crystalline character of Alto Adige's high-altitude vineyards.
Alto Adige combines Italian and Austrian winemaking traditions in Italy's northernmost wine region.
