Pinot Noir Franz Haas Italian wine - Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC from Alto Adige

Tasting Notes

This exceptional Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC showcases the authentic character of Alto Adige. Its 13.5% alcohol content supports a rounded, well-integrated style. Crafted from Pinot Nero 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in hilly soils rich in clay and limestone between 200 and 600 metres above sea level, in Contessa Entellina Estate. Vinification: fermentation in steel tanks with maceration on the skins for 11-13 days. The wine is aged 12 months in barrique. A wine capturing the crystalline character of Alto Adige's high-altitude vineyards.
