A fine example of Alto Adige winemaking, this Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC reflects generations of local expertise. Its 13.5% alcohol content supports a rounded, well-integrated style. Crafted from Pinot Nero 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in Mazzon, above Neumarkt, on slopes facing south-west, on clayey and calcareous soils. Vinification: manual harvest, then in stainless steel vats for fermentation (12-15 days). The wine is aged 15 months in oak barrels, barriques and then 6 months in bottle. A wine reflecting the region's cool mountain climate and precise winemaking.
High-altitude vineyards and a cool alpine climate give Alto Adige wines exceptional freshness and purity.
