A fine example of Sicily winemaking, this Sicilia DOC reflects generations of local expertise. At 12.5% alcohol, it presents a well-balanced and harmonious profile. Crafted from Nero d’Avola 50%, Syrah 50% , this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It shows a delicate pale hue with fresh red-berry aromas and a crisp finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in a calcareous soil in the Menfi area. Vinification: destemming, soft pressing, short maceration on the skins for 1-2 hours, cold settling and alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks at controlled temperature. The wine is aged some months in steel tanks. A wine reflecting the mineral intensity of Sicily's volcanic soils.
