A fine example of Sicily winemaking, this Sicilia DOC reflects generations of local expertise. At 14.5% alcohol, it delivers real concentration and power on the palate. Crafted from Nero d'avola 62%, Perricone 38%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards located at 470 m. s.l.m. in clay soils, fine, slightly calcareous, exposure of the vineyards in the south / east, shrub cultivation, pruning Guyot and spurred cordon. Vinification: fermentation in stainless steel tanks, malolactic fermentation is carried out completely. The wine is aged 18 months in French oak barrels 100% new. A wine capturing Sicily's sun-soaked character and ancient viticultural roots.
Volcanic soils around Mount Etna impart a distinctive mineral character found across many Sicilian wines.
