A fine example of Tuscany winemaking, this Rosso di Montalcino DOC reflects generations of local expertise. At 14.5% alcohol, it delivers real concentration and power on the palate. Crafted from Sangiovese 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards from the Collina di Sant'Angelo, overlooking the Orcia river, at about 250 meters above sea level. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks at a controlled temperature with maceration on the skins for 10-12 days. The wine is aged 10-12 months in large Slavonian oak barrels, with a small percentage of the wine aging in tonneaux and cement vats. A wine true to the storied winemaking heritage of Tuscany.
Tuscan winemakers blend centuries-old tradition with modern technique, crafting wines that express a truly unique landscape.
