This Torgiano DOC captures the distinctive personality of Umbria terroir. Its 15% alcohol content underpins a rich, muscular structure. Crafted from Sangiovese 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards sandstone and marl-rich soil, lake and river sediments, sandy-loamy soils at 200-300 meters on sea level. Yield per hectare of 30 quintals. Grown in organic and biodynamic. Vinification: manual de-stemming, crushing with his feet and partial carbonic maceration. Spontaneous fermentation on the skins in concrete oval vats, maceration for 18-30 days. The wine is aged 12 months in used tonneau and barriques, another 12 months in concrete vats.
