Produced in Friuli Venezia Giulia, this wine reflects a genuine sense of place. Its 14.5% alcohol content underpins a rich, muscular structure. Crafted from Merlot 80%, Cabernet Sauvignon 20%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards allevati a guyot su terreno ghiaioso, con esposizione a sud-est- Resa di 45 q/ha. Vinification: separated vinification in wooden vats with maceration on the skins for about 16 days, then malolactic fermentation in big oak barrels, without filtration. The wine is aged 18 months in big Slavonian barrels for the Merlot and 18 months in barrique for the Cabernet Sauvignon. A wine reflecting Friuli's reputation for aromatic precision and minerality.
