A fine example of Marche winemaking, this Rosso Piceno DOC reflects generations of local expertise. Its 13.5% alcohol content supports a rounded, well-integrated style. Crafted from Sangiovese 85%, other red grapes 15%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards vines located in the Ancona hinterland on medium-textured soils, facing south-east. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in steel with maceration on the skins for 10-12 days. The wine is aged 6-8 months in steel tanks. A wine showing the freshness typical of Marche's coastal vineyards.
The region is best known for Verdicchio, one of Italy's most versatile white grapes.
