A fine example of Marche winemaking, this Rosso Piceno DOC reflects generations of local expertise. With 13.5% alcohol, it strikes a confident balance between body and freshness. Crafted from Montepulciano 50%, Sangiovese 35%, Merlot 10%, Cabernet Sauvignon 5%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards on medium-textured soils with South-East exposure. Vinification: spontaneous alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts in steel. The wine is aged 8 months in small oak barrels and another 6 months in bottle. A wine reflecting the Marche region's balance of Adriatic influence and hillside terroir.
The region is best known for Verdicchio, one of Italy's most versatile white grapes.
