This Oltrepò Pavese DOC captures the distinctive personality of Lombardy terroir. At 15.5% alcohol, it delivers real concentration and power on the palate. Crafted from Croatina 55%, Barbera 25%, Uva Rara 10%, Ughetta di Canneto 10%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards vigna Cavariola with exposure to the west, clay and sand soils with a slope of 35%. Vinification: soft pressing of the grapes, alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts in open tonneaux with 25/30 days maceration of the skins. Without filtrations. The wine is aged 20 months in French oak barrels, new for the 25%. A wine representing Lombardy's sophisticated winemaking style with precision and elegance.
