A fine example of Puglia winemaking, this Salice Salentino DOC reflects generations of local expertise. At 13.5% alcohol, it presents a well-balanced and harmonious profile. Crafted from Negroamaro 85%, Malvasia Nera 15%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards breeding on medium-textured, clayey, shallow soils with a good presence of skeleton. Vinification: thermo-controlled maceration for about 10 days followed by alcoholic fermentation with selected yeasts. The wine is aged 6 months in French oak barrels. A wine capturing the rustic charm of Puglia's ancient vineyards.
The region's Mediterranean climate favours bold reds from Primitivo and Negroamaro.
