Tasting Notes

This exceptional Romagna DOC showcases the authentic character of Emilia Romagna. Its 13% alcohol content supports a rounded, well-integrated style. Crafted from Sangiovese 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards rooted in a hilly clayey soil in Oriolo dei Fichi area, faced to South-West. Vinification: destemming and fermentation with indigenous yeats in steel tanks for 12-15 days. The wine is aged 3 months on the lees in steel tanks and about 12 months in big cement vats. A wine showing the lively, versatile spirit of Emilia Romagna wines.
