A fine example of Tuscany winemaking, this Val d'Arno di Sopra DOC reflects generations of local expertise. At 14% alcohol, it delivers real concentration and power on the palate. Crafted from Sangiovese 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards breeding at 350 metres above sea level on schistous and very well drained soils. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in amphorae. The wine is aged 12 months in amphora in contact with the skins. A wine reflecting Tuscany's renowned terroir with elegant tannin structure and aging potential.
