This distinctive wine from Marche embodies traditional Italian winemaking heritage. With 15.5% alcohol content, it offers a full-bodied and robust structure. Crafted from Sangiovese 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in a hilly soil at 550 metres above sea level. Vinification: spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts in steel and concrete tanks. Without filtrations. The wine is aged 24 months in French barriques and at least 12 months in bottle. A wine reflecting the Marche region's balance of Adriatic influence and hillside terroir.
The region is best known for Verdicchio, one of Italy's most versatile white grapes.
