A fine example of Alto Adige winemaking, this Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC reflects generations of local expertise. At 13.5% alcohol, it presents a well-balanced and harmonious profile. Crafted from Sauvignon 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate is fresh and precise, with lively acidity carrying through to the finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards cultivated according to the guyot and pergola system in clayey calcareous soil at 350-450 m above sea level, faced to South and to East. Vinification: destemming, cold maceration for 8-10 hours, soft pressing, cold settling and alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks at controlled temperature. The wine is aged 4 months on the lees in steel tanks. A wine capturing the crystalline character of Alto Adige's high-altitude vineyards.
Alto Adige producers are renowned for precise, terroir-expressive whites and elegant reds.
