A fine example of Alto Adige winemaking, this Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC reflects generations of local expertise. With 14% alcohol content, it offers a full-bodied and robust structure. Crafted from Sauvignon 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate is fresh and precise, with lively acidity carrying through to the finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards on sandy and gravelly soil of moraine origin. Yelds 45 hl/hectar. Vinification: short contact with the skins, 50% fermented in steel, 50% fermented in barrique with partial malolactic fermentation. The wine is aged 8 months of which half in steel and the other half in barrique. A wine capturing the crystalline character of Alto Adige's high-altitude vineyards.
