A fine example of Alto Adige winemaking, this Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC reflects generations of local expertise. Its 13.5% alcohol content supports a rounded, well-integrated style. Crafted from Sauvignon Blanc 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect crisp citrus and orchard fruit aromas framed by a clean, mineral finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards selection of the Oberkerschbaum vineyard in the municipality of Salorno, at an altitude of about 800 meters with exposure to the south. Vinification: soft pressing and a few hours of maceration with the skins, alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature. The wine is aged 8 months in steel barrels in contact with the fine lees. A wine reflecting the region's cool mountain climate and precise winemaking.
Alto Adige combines Italian and Austrian winemaking traditions in Italy's northernmost wine region.
