This Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC captures the distinctive personality of Alto Adige terroir. At 14.5% alcohol, it delivers real concentration and power on the palate. Crafted from Sauvignon 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It presents bright acidity with fresh mineral notes and excellent varietal expression. The fruit is sourced from vineyards cultivated according to the guyot system in acalcareous soils in Appiano Monte and porphyric soils in Carnaiano, between 450 and 600 metres above sea level. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in steel vats for about 14 days. The wine is aged some months in big acacia barrels. A wine showing the alpine freshness and purity typical of Alto Adige.
Alto Adige combines Italian and Austrian winemaking traditions in Italy's northernmost wine region.
