Sauvignon 'Praesulis' Gumphof

A fine example of Alto Adige winemaking, this Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC reflects generations of local expertise. With 14% alcohol content, it offers a full-bodied and robust structure. Crafted from Sauvignon 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect crisp citrus and orchard fruit aromas framed by a clean, mineral finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards near Sciliar mountain from 400 to 550 metres of altitude. Vinification: short maceration, delicate pressure, alcoholic fermentation in steel and, for 1/3, in tonneau. The wine is aged 8 months on the lees in steel vats and for 6 months in tonneaux. A wine capturing the crystalline character of Alto Adige's high-altitude vineyards.
