A fine example of Alto Adige winemaking, this Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC reflects generations of local expertise. Its 14% alcohol content underpins a rich, muscular structure. Crafted from Sauvignon 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect crisp citrus and orchard fruit aromas framed by a clean, mineral finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards cultivated according to the Guyot system in a chalky calcareous soil from San Michele and Appiano al Monte, at 450-600 metres above sea level. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks and, for the 10%, in oak barrels. The wine is aged some months in steel tanks and, for the 10%, in oak barrels. A wine showing the alpine freshness and purity typical of Alto Adige.
High-altitude vineyards and a cool alpine climate give Alto Adige wines exceptional freshness and purity.
