This Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC captures the distinctive personality of Alto Adige terroir. Its 14% alcohol content underpins a rich, muscular structure. Crafted from Sauvignon 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect crisp citrus and orchard fruit aromas framed by a clean, mineral finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards cultivated according to the Guyot system in a chalky calcareous soil from San Michele and Appiano al Monte, at 450-600 metres above sea level. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks and, for the 10%, in oak barrels. The wine is aged some months in steel tanks and, for the 10%, in oak barrels. A wine capturing the crystalline character of Alto Adige's high-altitude vineyards.
Alto Adige combines Italian and Austrian winemaking traditions in Italy's northernmost wine region.
