Tasting Notes

This Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC captures the distinctive personality of Alto Adige terroir. At 13.5% alcohol, it presents a well-balanced and harmonious profile. Crafted from Sauvignon 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It presents bright acidity with fresh mineral notes and excellent varietal expression. The fruit is sourced from vineyards from the hillside vineyards located between 400 and 700 meters above sea level, on gravelly, morainic and limestone soils in Cortaccia and on the sandy and silt soils in Aica di Fiè. Vinification: maceration for 6-8 hours and fermentation in steel at controlled temperature. The wine is aged 6 months in big oak barrels for the 50% and on the lees in steel tanks fo the other half. A wine reflecting the region's cool mountain climate and precise winemaking.
