The fruit is sourced from vineyards in Serradenari mga in La Morra, at 480 metres above sea level on sandy and calcareous soils with south-west exposure. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts. The wine is aged 6 months in chestnut barrels. A wine capturing the sun-drenched character of Italy's southernmost mainland region.
