This Sforzato di Valtellina DOCG stands as a benchmark for Lombardy's highest quality classification. Its 15% alcohol content underpins a rich, muscular structure. Crafted from Nebbiolo (Chiavennasca) 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards between 550 and 750 metres above sea level on sandy soils with south, south-east exposure. Vinification: grapes left to dry and alcoholic fermentation in steel vats controlled temperature. The wine is aged 24 months in oak barrels and 10 months in bottle. A wine true to the meticulous Lombard approach to winemaking.
The region's alpine influence and varied terroir create wines of remarkable elegance and precision.
