This prestigious Sforzato di Valtellina DOCG represents the pinnacle of Italian winemaking excellence. Its 15% alcohol content underpins a rich, muscular structure. Crafted from Nebbiolo (Chiavennasca) 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards vines of 40-50 years at 400-600 mt of altitude, cultivated with Guyot system. Very low yelds. Vinification: grapes completely whitered till January. Alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts in steel tanks and contact with the skins of 20 days with delestage operations. Malolactic in wood barrels. The wine is aged 24 months in medium oak barrels. A wine true to the meticulous Lombard approach to winemaking.
