A fine example of Tuscany winemaking, this Cortona DOC reflects generations of local expertise. At 14% alcohol, it delivers real concentration and power on the palate. Crafted from Syrah 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in the homonym Premier Cru, with vines exposed to South in marny soils. Organic and biodynamic farming. Vinification: pressing of whole clusters, fermentation with indigenous yeasts in big oak barrels. The wine is aged 12 months in different new French barriques from Allier.
