A fine example of Lombardy winemaking, this Valcalepio DOC reflects generations of local expertise. With 13.5% alcohol, it strikes a confident balance between body and freshness. Crafted from Merlot 60%, Cabernet Sauvignon 40%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. Vinification: second fermentation in bottle according to the 'Methode Champenoise'. The wine is aged a few months in second and third passage French tonneaux.
