A fine example of Veneto winemaking, this Valpolicella DOC reflects generations of local expertise. With 12.5% alcohol, it strikes a confident balance between body and freshness. Crafted from Corvinone 40%, Corvina 30%, Rondinella 20%, Molinara 10%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards at 250-300 meters above sea level on calcareous soils facing east. Vinification: spontaneous alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts in cement vats and maceration on the skins for one week. The wine is aged some months in concrete vats. A wine embodying Veneto's winemaking heritage with fresh acidity and food-friendly character.
From Lake Garda to the Dolomites, Veneto's varied geography offers microclimates suited to many different styles.
