The fruit is sourced from vineyards grapes from the single vineyard "Gess" in the municipality of Sondrio on granite-rich soils at an altitude of 455-550 meters. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation and long maceration on the skins for 25 days. The wine is aged 24 months in 225-500 litre oak barrels.
