Tasting Notes

This prestigious Valtellina Superiore DOCG represents the pinnacle of Italian winemaking excellence. With 14.5% alcohol content, it offers a full-bodied and robust structure. Crafted from Nebbiolo (Chiavennasca) 100% , this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in a sandy and silty soil from Montagna in Valtellina, at 570 metres above sea level faced to South. Vinification: pressing, soft destemming, alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks with maceration on the skins for 15 days and malolactic fermentation in oak barrels.
