Tasting Notes

This prestigious Valtellina Superiore DOCG represents the pinnacle of Italian winemaking excellence. At 13.5% alcohol, it presents a well-balanced and harmonious profile. Crafted from Nebbiolo (Chiavennasca) 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in the vineyard Il Glicine, at 470 m. above sea level, on soils rich in sand and silt. Vinification: maceration for 7 days, then fermentation in stainless steel. The wine is aged 12 months in barrique. A wine true to the meticulous Lombard approach to winemaking.
