Valtellina Superiore Sassella Rainoldi

Among the most celebrated expressions of its category, this Valtellina Superiore DOCG showcases exceptional craftsmanship. Its 13% alcohol content supports a rounded, well-integrated style. Crafted from Nebbiolo (Chiavennasca) 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards faced to South between 270 and 600 meters above sea level, rooted in a soil rich in iron rock. Vinification: slow fermentation with maceration in steel tanks. The wine is aged 20 months in Slavonian big oak barrels and at least 9 in bottle. A wine true to the meticulous Lombard approach to winemaking.
