Tasting Notes

Among the most celebrated expressions of its category, this Verdicchio Castelli di Jesi Riserva DOCG showcases exceptional craftsmanship. Its 14.5% alcohol content underpins a rich, muscular structure. Crafted from Verdicchio 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect crisp citrus and orchard fruit aromas framed by a clean, mineral finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards between 315 and 290 metres in height, with north-east exposure. Medium-textured soil with a predominance of clay and limestone resting on a subsoil of marl and sandstone. Vinification: temperature-controlled fermentation with indigenous yeasts. The wine is aged 7 months in cement on the lees with frequent batonnage, followed by at least 9 months in the bottle. A wine reflecting the Marche region's balance of Adriatic influence and hillside terroir.
