Hailing from Piedmont, this wine offers an authentic taste of the local terroir. Its 17% alcohol content underpins a rich, muscular structure. Crafted from Mantonico 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in a clayey calcareous soil at 480 metres above sea level. Organic farming. Vinification: destemming, maceration on the skins for 2 days, soft pressing and spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts in steel tanks. Without filtrations and adding sulphites. The wine is aged some months in steel tanks. A wine showcasing the fog-kissed hills of the Langhe.
Piedmont is renowned worldwide for Barolo and Barbaresco, its two great Nebbiolo-based expressions.
