Hailing from Basilicata, this wine offers an authentic taste of the local terroir. Its 12.5% alcohol content supports a rounded, well-integrated style. Crafted from Aglianico 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards vines of 40 years old at 500 meters above sea level on vulcanic soils South-East facing. Yield per hectare to 50 quintals. Grown organically. Vinification: spontaneous fermentation and maceration of 25 days in in chestnut barrels, soft pressing, no clarification, filtration and addition of sulfur. The wine is aged 12 months in tonneaux, 8 months in bottle. A wine true to Basilicata's tradition of powerful, age-worthy wines.
