This distinctive wine from Campania embodies traditional Italian winemaking heritage. Its 13.5% alcohol content supports a rounded, well-integrated style. Crafted from Aglianico 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards 75-year-old vines trained in the traditional Avellina ray system on sandy and clay soil at an altitude of 450 m. Organic cultivation and yield per hectare of around 40 quintals. Vinification: spontaneous fermentation in wooden vats with indigenous yeasts, no sulphur dioxide added. The wine is aged 12 months partly in wooden tanks and partly in steel tanks. A wine true to Campania's tradition of structured, age-worthy wines.
Volcanic soils around Vesuvius give Campania wines a distinctive mineral intensity.
