This Amarone della Valpolicella DOC captures the distinctive personality of Veneto terroir. At 17% alcohol, it delivers real concentration and power on the palate. Crafted from Corvina 30%, Corvinone 30%, Rondinella 30%, Oseleta, Negrara, Dindarella, Croatina, Forselina 10%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in the vineyard Monte Olmi, on vines about 20 years old and on soil rich of clay and limestone. Vinification: before the fermentation, after an harvest with rigorous selection of grapes at full maturity, grapes dried for about 120 days to reduce the water content and to further concentrate the sugars. The wine is aged 3-4 years in oak casks, then at least 6 months in bottle. A wine showing the technical precision Veneto producers are known for.
Veneto winemakers are known for technical precision, creating both approachable and age-worthy wines.
