This exceptional Amarone della Valpolicella DOC showcases the authentic character of Veneto. With 15% alcohol content, it offers a full-bodied and robust structure. Crafted from Corvina 70%, Rondinella 20%, Corvinone 10%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards rooted in a chalky clayey soil. Vinification: after the traditional appassimento process of four months, grapes are gently pressed from raisins instead of fresh grapes. Fermentation lasts about 20 days at a controlled temperature. The wine is aged 36 months partly in Slavonia oak casks and partly in small barrels of Allier. A wine reflecting the varied microclimates between Lake Garda and the Dolomites.
From Lake Garda to the Dolomites, Veneto's varied geography offers microclimates suited to many different styles.
