This prestigious Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG represents the pinnacle of Italian winemaking excellence. Its 16.5% alcohol content underpins a rich, muscular structure. Crafted from Corvina veronese 60%, Corvinone 15%, Rondinella 20%, Croatina 5%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in Vineyard Roccolo Grassi, of vines over 40 years old, at an altitude of 200-250 m. above sea level, exposed to the Southeast, on soils of volcanic origin-basaltic. Vinification: before processing, after a harvest with rigorous selection of the grapes at full maturity, drying the grapes for about 120 days to reduce the water content and further concentrate the sugars. The wine is aged 26 months in barrique for 50% of first pass, then 24 months in bottle. A wine embodying Veneto's winemaking heritage with fresh acidity and food-friendly character.
Veneto masterfully balances tradition and innovation, producing everything from powerful Amarone to crisp Soave.
