This prestigious Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG represents the pinnacle of Italian winemaking excellence. At 16.5% alcohol, it delivers real concentration and power on the palate. Crafted from Corvina 80%, Rondinella 10%, Oseleta 10%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in the vineyards of Sant'Ambrogio di Valpolicella, with exposure to the South-East, on soils rich in clay and limestone, of vines over 20 years raised to 300-350 m. slm. Vinification: before the vinification, after an harvest with rigorous selection of the grapes at full maturity, drying the grapes for about 120 days to reduce the water content and further concentrate the sugars. The wine is aged at least 48 months in large oak barrels, then at least 12 months in bottle. A wine reflecting the varied microclimates between Lake Garda and the Dolomites.
Veneto winemakers are known for technical precision, creating both approachable and age-worthy wines.
