This prestigious Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG represents the pinnacle of Italian winemaking excellence. Its 15.5% alcohol content underpins a rich, muscular structure. Crafted from Corvina 60%, Corvinone 15%, Rondinella 15%, other red grapes 10%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards 15-25 year old vines on terraces at 150-450 meters above sea level with south and south-west exposure on silt-clayey soils, with limestone tracts. Vinification: drying in the loft until December / January and alcoholic and malolactic fermentation with slow maceration for 30 days. The wine is aged 18 months in big oak wood barrels. A wine reflecting the varied microclimates between Lake Garda and the Dolomites.
Veneto winemakers are known for technical precision, creating both approachable and age-worthy wines.
