This Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG stands as a benchmark for Veneto's highest quality classification. At 16% alcohol, it delivers real concentration and power on the palate. Crafted from Corvina 60%, Corvinone 15%, Rondinella 15%, other red grapes 10%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards from the hamlet of Prognol from 15-year-old vines at 200-250 meters above sea level on silt-clayey soils, with limestone tracts. Vinification: alcoholic and malolactic fermentation with slow maceration of 30 days. The wine is aged at least 18 months in oak wood barrels. A wine showing the technical precision Veneto producers are known for.
Veneto masterfully balances tradition and innovation, producing everything from powerful Amarone to crisp Soave.
